Om mig

Nasci sob o signo de Capricórnio, a 19 de Janeiro de 1957, no arquipélago da Madeira - meio caminho entre África e Portugal Continental. Parti rumo a Lisboa no ano de 1965. As longíquas memórias de infância na ilha deram-me o gosto pela voz, nem sempre calma e doce, do mar,pelos sabores e cores tropicais e, acima de tudo, pela nostalgia que vem da comtemplação da linha do horizonte - e do imaginário para que fica para além dela.

.I was born under the Capricorn sign, 19th January, 1957, in Madeira archipelago – half way between Africa and Portugal (mainland). I headed to Lisbon by the year of 1965. The far away childhood memories of the island brought me the love for the not always calm and sweet sound of the sea, for the tropical tastes and colors and, above all, for the nostalgia that comes from contemplating the horizon – and the Imaginary that remains after it. I am an amateur photographer and painter.
